In his position at the company, Chong is in charge of managing all properties including drilling, production and facilities.
He began his professional career in 1978 with Mustang Production Company in Oklahoma City and subsequently with Joseph F. Mueller / Marjo Oil Company in Tulsa, El Paso / Sonat Exploration and EOG Resources. He has also worked for Long Benton & Associates in Oklahoma City as a consulting reservoir engineer.
He is a 1978 graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. in petroleum engineering with special distinction. Chong is a Registered Professional Engineer in Oklahoma, and a member and former secretary of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
