New Dominion’s office in Oklahoma City's Southern Dome field serves as both a field office and as a showcase for the company’s accomplishments in the field.
The 12,000 square foot building features a control center that consists of a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system to monitor the Oklahoma City field's wells, and an Enhanced Radio Kill System, which is capable of controlling and monitoring the operations of the wells, making it possible to respond quickly to equipment or production variables.
The Southern Dome field office is located within the city limits of Oklahoma City, on SE 59 between Bryant and Sunnylane.
When New Dominion started laying the foundation of this field, we temporarily used an original Cities Service house built in the 1920s. Much of our early efforts in this area focused on enhancing neighborhood security, and cleaning up the area. We continue to work closely with the surrounding neighborhood associations to educate them about our oil and gas operations.
New Dominion employs 15-20 personnel to oversee the 24–hour operations of our Southern Dome field.
